OUR HISTORY

Reimagining spaces
through the years

NOVA Group began with the rise of the Philippine economy in the 1980s. Its founder sought to serve an underserved market and positioned itself as a niche developer. NOVA Group - then NOVA Structura - was established by Ricardo P. Cuerva as a general contractor company building small-scale projects in Metro Manila.
1982
NOVA Group began with the rise of the Philippine economy in the 1980s. Its founder sought to serve an underserved market and positioned itself as a niche developer. 1986
NOVA Group began to expand its business by developing medium-scale projects such as mid-rise residential towers located in the Central Business Districts of Makati and Ortigas.
1996
The redevelopment of Fort Bonifacio begins, a 240-hectare conversion from a former military camp into a brand new residential and business district. Nova Group launches Essensa, the first project to rise in Fort Bonifacio.
2000
Despite the challenges of the Asian Financial Crisis, Nova Group delivers Essensa to wide acclaim, setting a new standard for luxury residential apartments for decades to come.
2004
NOVA Group began its work on Century City, a five-hectare property in Makati composed of seven high-rise towers and a retail complex. Development further expanded to mixed-use townships with multiple towers. Projects include Azure, Acqua, and Commonwealth.
2012
The Gramercy Residences
Forging ahead, Nova Group builds Gramercy Residences, the tallest structure in the Philippines with 71 floors of high-end residential units, extensive amenities and a landmark dining destination on the top floor.
2013
Azure Urban Residences
South of the metro, Azure is a 6-hectare, 9-tower urban residential resort in Bicutan where residents can live their dream vacation every day, with quick access to the CBD.
2014
Commonwealth by Century
A landmark development in Quezon City. Commonwealth by Century is an 8-tower residential township with an impressive design featuring floating gardens and serene views of the north.
2014
Acqua Private Residences
Acqua Private Residences is a 6-tower, tropical modern residential and retail complex in Mandaluyong. This nature-inspired residence is the Eden of Metro Manila.
2015
NOVA Group begins its foray into the premium commercial market and launches the development of NEX Tower: a premium grade, Gold LEED-certified office tower scheduled for completion in 2018.
